This video was taken on Saturday June 11, 2011. This boardwalk connects most of the commercial property through out the town. Here you can watch the sun set over the Currituck Sound, enjoy the natural beauty of Duck’s marshes or use this boardwalk to get to different shopping areas in town.
Not only will this help reduce the congestion along NC 12 but also it offers visitors and locals a great place to spend time. The town deserves great kudos for this wonderful project. Next time your are in town take take a stroll along the sound!
The boardwalk will be a great place to walk just about any time of year. You should have the boardwalk just about to yourself except for the busy summer season.
